About this app
LendMinder is an Android app presented under the Rook & Button brand. This policy describes version 0.1.0-preview, package com.rookandbutton.lendminder. It has no user-account service or advertisements.
The app does not send your saved records, device identifiers, or usage information to developer-operated servers. It contains no advertising or analytics integration.
Data used on your device
Manually entered item and person names, lent/borrowed direction, dates, notes, return/reopening history, drafts, preferences, and one previous saved state for undo. The app organizes physical-item records and prepares text or a calendar handoff when the user asks. It does not read contacts or automatically contact another person.
Permissions and system features
No Android runtime permissions are requested. File access is limited to selections or shares you initiate through Android.
Sharing and copies you choose
Manual exports are readable JSON. Copy reminder writes selected text to Android’s clipboard; another app receives it only when the user pastes or otherwise shares it. Calendar actions open a calendar editor with selected data for review; changes do not synchronize. Receiving apps, camera apps, browsers, and document providers operate under their own policies. A provider you select may synchronize files outside your device. This app does not control those independent copies.
Storage and security
App records are held in Android app-private storage. Automatic Android cloud backup and device transfer are disabled. Protect your device with a secure screen lock and keep exported files in a location you trust. Ordinary backup files are not an encrypted vault.
Retention and deletion
Delete an item record and its history with the app’s confirmation. The immediately preceding state remains in one-step undo until the next saved change. Clearing Android storage or uninstalling removes app-private records and undo data. External backups, clipboard copies, calendar entries, and messages sent using other apps remain independent.
Additional details
The user controls whether a copied reminder becomes a message. There are no background notification alarms, financial loans, payment transfers, or account services.
Purchases and support outside the app
If this app is offered as a paid download, Google Play handles the store transaction under Google’s policies. The app does not receive payment-card details. Messages you choose to send to our support or privacy addresses are handled separately from automatic in-app data collection. Do not send passwords, payment-card numbers, or unnecessary private documents in a support request.

If you choose to email us, the studio and its email provider receive the address, message, and attachments you send. Correspondence is used to respond and keep relevant support or business records, subject to applicable retention obligations. You may request deletion of correspondence through the privacy address. We cannot retrieve or remotely erase records kept only on your device; use the deletion controls described above.

We will update this policy and its date if the app’s data practices change.
