About this app
NookMeasure is an Android app presented under the Rook & Button brand. This policy describes version 0.1.0-preview, package com.rookandbutton.nookmeasure. It has no user-account service or advertisements.
The app does not send your saved records, device identifiers, or usage information to developer-operated servers. It contains no advertising or analytics integration.
Data used on your device
Space and item labels, dimensions, chosen units, per-side clearances, orientation settings, comparisons, notes, drafts, preferences, and one previous saved state. The app calculates rectangular dimension and clearance comparisons from measurements entered by the user. It does not access a camera, location, or sensor-based measurement service.
Permissions and system features
No Android runtime permissions are requested. File access is limited to selections or shares you initiate through Android.
Sharing and copies you choose
Backups are readable JSON written to the Android document provider you choose. Copy actions, where used, place selected text on the clipboard. Chosen providers or recipient apps handle any subsequent transfer under their own policies. Receiving apps, camera apps, browsers, and document providers operate under their own policies. A provider you select may synchronize files outside your device. This app does not control those independent copies.
Storage and security
App records are held in Android app-private storage. Automatic Android cloud backup and device transfer are disabled. Protect your device with a secure screen lock and keep exported files in a location you trust. Ordinary backup files are not an encrypted vault.
Retention and deletion
Delete saved records with the app’s controls. One-step undo retains the preceding save until a later saved change. Clear Android app storage or uninstall to remove local measurements, comparisons, drafts, preferences, and undo data. Delete backups and pasted copies separately.
Additional details
Measurements are manual, and fit results do not establish a safe moving route, structural capacity, or compliance with manufacturer installation requirements.
Purchases and support outside the app
If this app is offered as a paid download, Google Play handles the store transaction under Google’s policies. The app does not receive payment-card details. Messages you choose to send to our support or privacy addresses are handled separately from automatic in-app data collection. Do not send passwords, payment-card numbers, or unnecessary private documents in a support request.

If you choose to email us, the studio and its email provider receive the address, message, and attachments you send. Correspondence is used to respond and keep relevant support or business records, subject to applicable retention obligations. You may request deletion of correspondence through the privacy address. We cannot retrieve or remotely erase records kept only on your device; use the deletion controls described above.

We will update this policy and its date if the app’s data practices change.
