About this app
PackWorth is an Android app presented under the Rook & Button brand. This policy describes version 0.1.0-preview, package com.rookandbutton.packworth. It has no user-account service or advertisements.
The app does not send your saved records, device identifiers, or usage information to developer-operated servers. It contains no advertising or analytics integration.
Data used on your device
Product/comparison names, package labels, manually entered prices and currencies, quantities, units, multipack counts, comparison dates, drafts, appearance preferences, and one prior saved state. The app uses entered values to normalize compatible units and rank package prices. It has no live store data, automatic price tracking, barcode access, or currency-exchange service.
Permissions and system features
No Android runtime permissions are requested. File access is limited to selections or shares you initiate through Android.
Sharing and copies you choose
Manual backup export and restore use the Android document provider the user selects. JSON backups are readable and unencrypted; a selected cloud-backed provider may synchronize them under its own policy. Receiving apps, camera apps, browsers, and document providers operate under their own policies. A provider you select may synchronize files outside your device. This app does not control those independent copies.
Storage and security
App records are held in Android app-private storage. Automatic Android cloud backup and device transfer are disabled. Protect your device with a secure screen lock and keep exported files in a location you trust. Ordinary backup files are not an encrypted vault.
Retention and deletion
Delete saved comparisons in the app. One-step undo preserves the immediately preceding saved state until a later saved change. Clearing Android app storage or uninstalling removes private comparisons, drafts, preferences, and undo history. Delete exported files separately.
Additional details
The price calculator does not purchase goods, transfer money, connect to bank accounts, or monitor stores. All price and offer details are supplied by the user.
Purchases and support outside the app
If this app is offered as a paid download, Google Play handles the store transaction under Google’s policies. The app does not receive payment-card details. Messages you choose to send to our support or privacy addresses are handled separately from automatic in-app data collection. Do not send passwords, payment-card numbers, or unnecessary private documents in a support request.

If you choose to email us, the studio and its email provider receive the address, message, and attachments you send. Correspondence is used to respond and keep relevant support or business records, subject to applicable retention obligations. You may request deletion of correspondence through the privacy address. We cannot retrieve or remotely erase records kept only on your device; use the deletion controls described above.

We will update this policy and its date if the app’s data practices change.
