About this app
PickParlor is an Android app presented under the Rook & Button brand. This policy describes version 0.1.0-preview, package com.rookandbutton.pickparlor. It has no user-account service or advertisements.
The app does not send your saved records, device identifiers, or usage information to developer-operated servers. It contains no advertising or analytics integration.
Data used on your device
Round names, participant names/order, option labels, Yes/Maybe/No ballots, final group selection, saved results, drafts, appearance preferences, and one previous saved state. The app collects each participant’s answers on the same device and ranks choices by fewest No answers and then most Yes answers. It has no remote voting, account, or communication service.
Permissions and system features
No Android runtime permissions are requested. File access is limited to selections or shares you initiate through Android.
Sharing and copies you choose
Explicit backups are unencrypted JSON and include individual ballots in participant order. Copy actions place chosen text on Android’s clipboard. The file provider or pasted-to app has its own handling of the content. Receiving apps, camera apps, browsers, and document providers operate under their own policies. A provider you select may synchronize files outside your device. This app does not control those independent copies.
Storage and security
App records are held in Android app-private storage. Automatic Android cloud backup and device transfer are disabled. Protect your device with a secure screen lock and keep exported files in a location you trust. Ordinary backup files are not an encrypted vault.
Retention and deletion
Delete saved rounds with the app controls. One-step undo retains the preceding saved snapshot until another saved change. Clearing Android storage or uninstalling removes all private rounds, drafts, preferences, and undo data. External backup or copied content remains until separately deleted.
Additional details
Ordinary handoff screens conceal prior votes, and the app requests screenshot/recents protection during voting. Those measures do not create encrypted, anonymous, or tamperproof voting. Unsubmitted choices clear when the app backgrounds. Use only for casual, non-sensitive decisions.
Purchases and support outside the app
If this app is offered as a paid download, Google Play handles the store transaction under Google’s policies. The app does not receive payment-card details. Messages you choose to send to our support or privacy addresses are handled separately from automatic in-app data collection. Do not send passwords, payment-card numbers, or unnecessary private documents in a support request.

If you choose to email us, the studio and its email provider receive the address, message, and attachments you send. Correspondence is used to respond and keep relevant support or business records, subject to applicable retention obligations. You may request deletion of correspondence through the privacy address. We cannot retrieve or remotely erase records kept only on your device; use the deletion controls described above.
Changes
We will update this policy and its date if the app’s data practices change.
