About this app
Rivetwake is an Android app presented under the Rook & Button brand. This policy describes version 0.1.1, package com.rookandbutton.cinderwake. It has no user-account service or advertisements.
The app does not send your saved records, device identifiers, or usage information to developer-operated servers. It contains no advertising or analytics integration.
Data used on your device
Game progress, settings, current attempt or active board, completion records, medals or scores, and local save data. The offline game uses these records to resume play, retain progress, and apply settings. It has no accounts, advertisements, in-app purchases, analytics, or network permission.
Permissions and system features
No Android runtime permissions are requested. File access is limited to selections or shares you initiate through Android.
Sharing and copies you choose
You can export a readable JSON backup through Android’s document picker and import one with confirmation. Import replaces local progress. The selected file provider may independently synchronize the file. The game does not send the backup to the developer. Receiving apps, camera apps, browsers, and document providers operate under their own policies. A provider you select may synchronize files outside your device. This app does not control those independent copies.
Storage and security
App records are held in Android app-private storage. Automatic Android cloud backup and device transfer are disabled. Protect your device with a secure screen lock and keep exported files in a location you trust. Ordinary backup files are not an encrypted vault.
Retention and deletion
Use any game reset controls deliberately. Clearing Android app storage or uninstalling removes local progress and settings. Exported backups remain at the selected destination until removed separately. A temporary pending export is kept in private cache while the picker is open and removed after export or cancellation.
Additional details
Music and sound controls, reduced effects, contrast options, menu appearance, pause, and local save tools are provided. A daily run uses a seed based on the device’s local date, without a server request. Speed assist marks assisted results.
Purchases and support outside the app
If this app is offered as a paid download, Google Play handles the store transaction under Google’s policies. The app does not receive payment-card details. Messages you choose to send to our support or privacy addresses are handled separately from automatic in-app data collection. Do not send passwords, payment-card numbers, or unnecessary private documents in a support request.

If you choose to email us, the studio and its email provider receive the address, message, and attachments you send. Correspondence is used to respond and keep relevant support or business records, subject to applicable retention obligations. You may request deletion of correspondence through the privacy address. We cannot retrieve or remotely erase records kept only on your device; use the deletion controls described above.
