About this app
Tuckwhere is an Android app presented under the Rook & Button brand. This policy describes version 0.1.0-preview, package com.rookandbutton.tuckwhere. It has no user-account service or advertisements.
The app does not send your saved records, device identifiers, or usage information to developer-operated servers. It contains no advertising or analytics integration.
Data used on your device
Spot names, parent-child location relationships, contents, notes, archive state, selected photo copies, search/draft state, and appearance preferences. The app uses manually entered records to search, display, move, and organize nested storage locations. It performs no automatic identification, OCR, or live tracking.
Permissions and system features
No Android runtime permissions are requested. File access is limited to selections or shares you initiate through Android.
Sharing and copies you choose
Individual photos are selected using Android’s picker, resized into private JPEG copies, and re-encoded without the original metadata. Originals are unchanged. Export creates an unencrypted ZIP with records, archives, and photos. Import adds new record IDs while preserving existing IDs and photo bytes. A user-initiated Android share passes the selected content to the chosen app. Receiving apps, camera apps, browsers, and document providers operate under their own policies. A provider you select may synchronize files outside your device. This app does not control those independent copies.
Storage and security
App records are held in Android app-private storage. Automatic Android cloud backup and device transfer are disabled. Protect your device with a secure screen lock and keep exported files in a location you trust. Ordinary backup files are not an encrypted vault.
Retention and deletion
Archive hides a branch without deleting it. Permanent deletion requires confirmation from the archived detail. Clear Android app storage or uninstall to remove private records and copied photos. Backups can restore previously deleted entries, and external copies and original images must be removed separately.
Additional details
A document provider chosen by the user can be cloud-backed; that provider’s policy applies. The app has no shared editing, automatic synchronization, or account recovery.
Purchases and support outside the app
If this app is offered as a paid download, Google Play handles the store transaction under Google’s policies. The app does not receive payment-card details. Messages you choose to send to our support or privacy addresses are handled separately from automatic in-app data collection. Do not send passwords, payment-card numbers, or unnecessary private documents in a support request.

If you choose to email us, the studio and its email provider receive the address, message, and attachments you send. Correspondence is used to respond and keep relevant support or business records, subject to applicable retention obligations. You may request deletion of correspondence through the privacy address. We cannot retrieve or remotely erase records kept only on your device; use the deletion controls described above.
